Cessford Reservoir is located a short eight miles from Pollockville. Whether you’re baitcasting, spinning or fly fishing, you have a very good chance of getting a bite. So, grab your favourite fly-fishing rod and reel, and head out to Cessford Reservoir.
Carolside Reservoir (Berry Creek)
Helmer Dam
Located 2km west of Hanna. Adjacent camping at Fox Lake Park. Stocked annually with Rainbow Trout.
CN Reservoir
Located on the south side of railroad tracks in Hanna. Previously stocked with Yellow Perch.
Blood Indian
Located 19 miles south of Youngstown. Rainbow Trout. Stocked by Natural Resource, Fish & Wildlife.
Acadia Municipal Reservoir
The Acadia Municipal Recreation Dam makes for the perfect fishing hole for fishers of all abilities. The man made dam is stocked with trout allowing for year-round fishing.
Consort Trout Pond
From the town of Consort and the junction of Highway 12 and Highway 41, turn N on Highway 41 and travel 12 km, turn E on Twp Rd 364 and travel 1.6 km, turn S on RR 62 and travel 0.5 km, and then turn W into the site. ACA annually stocks this pond with trout, typically before the May long weekend
